Overview
Wild Treasures: Climate Change is a year-long project that your class will work on together. Wild Treasures begins with a series of challenges, each centered around a surprising problem that is designed to introduce you to five Core Concepts of Climate Change. You will race against the clock while learning about our planet's changing climate. If your class solves every problem, you will earn your first of three $500 awards!
To earn up to $1000 more, you will need to work with your classmates on researching, proposal-writing, presenting, and action-taking. All award money is used to purchase materials and services to reduce your school's carbon impact and to help your school prepare for more frequent and severe weather events. The program is divided into four phases: Core Concepts, Research, Proposal, and Action.

If your class has been selected to participate, a WT Teaching Assistant will be in contact with your teacher and visit you in September to help launch your Wild Treasures: Climate Change program. We are looking forward to helping you succeed!
