Phase 3: Proposal
Congratulations! You have made it to the Proposal Phase of Wild Treasures. Now your job is to use what you learned from your research to convince your school board to approve your plan for improving your school's resiliency to climate change. Your plan will include a written proposal, an Action Budget, and a face-to-face presentation at your school board's meeting. You have another opportunity to win up to $500 by meeting all of the deadlines and sending your proposal to Wild Treasures.

Upcoming Deadlines
Transform your research into a plan for action by following these deadlines:
- The First Friday in April: Plan to present your proposal at a school board meeting no later than the first Friday in April. Don't forget to invite your WT Teaching Assistant to your presentation!
- One Week BEFORE your School Board Presentation: Submit your Written Proposal and Action Budget to your school board at least one week before you are scheduled to present at their meeting.
1. How do we write a Proposal and an Action Budget?
Read the Wild Treasures Proposal Rubric below to see what to include in your proposal. Just like before, each section of the rubric that you accomplish in your proposal is worth a certain amount of money and will go towards your final award from Wild Treasures. Take a look at sample Proposals from past Wild Treasures participants and the Action Budget Template before you begin.
